Anita

Anita is a Remedial Bowen Therapist of Fascial Dynamic Bowen Therapy
who particularly enjoys working to address and maintain the reduction or elimination of chronic pain and inflammation, improving mobility and posture, when all other approaches have otherwise ceased to give a solution.

Fascial Dynamic Bowen Therapy

In Bowen Therapy, a cross-fibre 'Bowen move' is applied accordingly to strategic locations on the fascial planes and junctions, influencing the fascial mechanoreceptors (sensory nerve endings in the fascia) creating body heat and bio-electric energy, allowing the fibres to separate, activating hydration in the bodies tissues and activating your bodies own healing response.
Working with Trigger Points, Acupuncture sites, Fascial Meridians and the latest research in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Bowen Therapy has a positive effect on muscles, nerves, joints, organ systems and other organic complaints. A treatment can include designated wait times between moves giving the body opportunity to promote homeostasis of the body tissues and systems.

Distinguished and Famous people from Narre Warren

🌳 Sidney John Webb

Sidney John Webb helped shape Narre Warren through land, planting and practical support for community institutions. He advocated for a railway station and donated land for the school and mechanics’ institute. The school opened in 1889, while a row of oaks planted along the Princes Highway in 1890 became another lasting reminder of his involvement. Webb Street preserves his name, but the surviving trees and heritage records give it more substance than a street sign alone. His story belongs to the period when the growing township’s transport, schooling and meeting places were being established.

🏉 Chris Newman

Chris Newman grew up in Narre Warren, with fellow future AFL player Brendan Fevola among his neighbourhood friends. Richmond’s account identifies Beaconsfield as his junior football club, a useful distinction from the suburb where he lived. Selected late in the 2000 national draft, he developed into a dependable defender and captained Richmond from 2009 to 2012. The role involved helping a young side through a difficult stage of its development. His career rewards a longer view than draft-day expectations: a relatively modest selection became a player trusted for composure, leadership and years of service.
